Ο παρών χάρτης είναι το Aaron Arrowsmith (1750–1823), του ιδρυτή της οικογένειας των χαρτογράφων Arrowsmtih.  Ο χάρτης φέρει τον τίτλο: Turkey in Europe και είναι σε κλίμακα: 1:6.000.000. Αποτελούσε ένα από τους 63 χάρτες της έκδοσης: New and elegant General Atlas Comprising all Discoveries to the Present Time, του Άτλαντα, ο οποίος  περιλάμβανει όλες τις νέες ανακαλύψεις μέχρι τότε. 

Ο Άτλας εκδόθηκε για πρώτη φορά το 1804 και ακολούθησαν οι εκδόσεις του 1805, 1812, and 1819.
